Subscription Membership
TriLon will generate revenues primarily through maintaining and servicing the application
for subscription members. Member-users will elect a committee to control application maintenance and enhancements. Each
member will have free access to software changes and enhancements made by TriLon, by customers as they modify the
application for their own use and then give back to the primary distribution, or by other members of the health care
and open source communities. This will drive down maintenance and application development costs while maintaining quality
and closeness of fit to the actual information needs of each company.
Fees
Each member company will pay a membership fee annually based on their annual revenue. Payment
of the membership fee gives the member company the right to vote for the representatives to the committee as well as
other benefits of membership. The fees will be for the administrative staffing, and marketing overhead of TriLon
Information Services as well as improvement of the software, support, and services.
The following chart shows a proposed annual fee charged and the number of votes allotted to
a member company based upon the annual revenue of the company or the portion of the company that uses 'TriLonis-mc'.
If the membership fees for a particular year are not sufficient to cover the development and maintenance costs for a
year, then the additional sums will be divided up between the member companies in proportion to their voting shares.
